As expected the hugely popular Xiaomi Redmi K20 is being rebadged as the Mi 9T for the EU market.
At the moment only the Xiaomi Mi 9T has been announced, not the more expensive Pro model.
The phone is up for pre-order via Amazon Spain, there is currently a promotion where the phone will be €299 (original price 329 €) on the 17th of June, but if you order now, Amazon honours the lowest price.
When you buy from Amazon spain there are no hidden fees such as tax.
if you buy it on a fee-free card such as Monzo or Starling that should work out at £285 which is an absolute bargain. This will be for the 6GB/64GB model.
This model is powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 730 chipset and has a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The selfie camera is a pop up 20MP lens so this gives the phone a notchless display.
Other camera details include a triple rear camera combination, featuring a 48MP main sensor (IMX582), 13MP ultra-wide shooter, and 8MP 2x telephoto lens.
The Mi 9T also gets a substantial battery bump over the regular Xiaomi Mi 9, serving up a 4,000mAh battery.
A 3.5mm port, NFC, Game Turbo 2.0 support, USB-C, dual-nano SIM capabilities, and MIUI 10 atop Android Pie round out the package.
