The new 16-inch MacBook Pro is now available on the Apple Store

It seems that the rumors we received yesterday turned out to be true. The 16-inch MacBook Pro has just been announced by Apple, and it’s changing many things, hopefully for the better.

The new laptop comes with improved thermal performance, to help sustain CPU and GPU run at full speed for longer, without having to put the device in the freezer.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 2.6GHz 6-core 9th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz, AMD Radeon Pro 5300M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory, 16GB RAM,    512GB SSD starting storage, 16-inch Retina display with True Tone, Touch Bar and a separate Touch ID physical key that will double up as a power button. The price for this package will be $2,399. If you want the 16-inch version, it comes with a 2.3GHz 8-core 9th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.8GHz, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 4GB RAM, and 1TB storage in the starting version for $2,799. You can always max it out and include a 2.4GHz 8‑core 9th‑generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz, 64GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and 8TB of storage for $6,099.

It also includes a new speaker design “to bring musicians, podcasters and video editors the most advanced audio experience ever”. According to Apple’s VP Tom Boger, the new MacBook Pro will give us a “larger display, blazing-fast performance, the biggest battery possible, the best notebook keyboard ever, awesome speakers and massive amounts of storage”.
